Ganesh Himal Quartz Natural Point

This stunning Ganesh Himal quartz natural point is hand mined by sherpas from  Ganesh mountain! Himal Ganesh mountain range straddles the border of Nepal and Tibet. The inclusions in this piece are biotite, iron and chlorite. This type of quartz is extracted at high altitude from a quiet, peaceful, relatively untouched part of the Himalayas 4000m above sea level!! The sherpas trek for 3 days to get to the quarry in the steep of the mountain, and can only carry back to the village, what will fit in their back packs.
