Ganesh Himal Quartz Natural Point

This stunning Ganesh Himal quartz natural point is hand mined by sherpas from  Ganesh mountain! Himal Ganesh mountain range straddles the border of Nepal and Tibet. This piece has beautiful mica inclusions. Mica is a principle rock forming mineral, that often has a shimmer and forms in layers. This type of quartz is extracted at high altitude from a quiet, peaceful, relatively untouched part of the Himalayas 4000m above sea level!! The sherpas trek for 3 days to get to the quarry in the steep of the mountain, and can only carry back to the village, what will fit in their back packs.
