This Hematite sphere is truly one of a kind. Hematite exhibits a wide range of appearances, from reddish-brown ocherous masses to dark silvery-grey scales, silvery-grey to black crystals, and dark-grey masses. Despite this variability, all forms share a characteristic rust-red streak. When finely powdered, hematite has a rusty colour, which gives Mars its distinctive red hue, earning it the nickname "Red Planet."
