Early Egyptians were drawn to this stone believing it held the power of the midday sun. Pharaohs wore jewellery made from Tiger Eye believing it would give them vitality and strength. To them it also represented the all-powerful eye and was a sacred stone included in the tombs of Pharaohs.

Ancient Greeks also wore Tiger Eye when going into battle as it symbolised the tigers traits of bravery and strength, they wore this to protect them during battle and fight off any fear.
